Formerly known as the "Sitka ST", the Sitka 140 is the ideal solution for a small to medium sized paddler looking for a high performance boat for multi-water use, from Lake Michigan to your local river, with performance features designed to promote speed, tracking, and safety - in a package what weighs just over 40 pounds!
“A stable but lively boat for small to medium paddlers, the Sitka 140 is a fun kayak that maneuvers well and can provide safe passage in wind, keep up in group paddles, and provide an easy car top due to its light weight.” – Sea Kayaker Magazine
The Sitka ST is a fully outfitted sea-worthy kayak with perimeter lines, bulkheads and hatches, retractable carry handles, deck bungees and adjustable seat and backrest. The backrest (standard) can be exchanged for a backband, for those who want a boat set up for more adventurous paddling, and the drop down skeg allows for a wide range of paddling environments.
