The Värmdö is the newest entry in Melker's line of high-performance, plant-based boats. This is targeted for savvy performance paddlers and the more recreational paddler who want to feel like rockstars on the water (still being able to easily toss it up on the roof rack post-paddling).
Sleek, forgiving, and stable, it's an easy boat for new paddlers to start with, while experienced paddlers will enjoy endless play time for surf, roll, carve, and rock gardening. The "Tradcore" construction uses infusion-molded fiberglass with a Soric core for stiffness, with Amplitex plant-based deck construction.
The all-new premium seat offers exceptional comfort and adjustability, and is available in three different sizes, which makes it possible to tailor the cockpit experience for every variety, preference, and size of the paddler. PLEASE NOTE - production HV models have thigh braces molded in to the cockpit coaming, but we have one no-thigh brace model available as well, for those who want a more open fit.
