When you're ready to go all out and get a classic touring hull, it's hard to go too far wrong with the Tempest series from Wilderness Systems. The lines of this hull redefine "classic", and it has more "best boat" awards than any other currently produced model of touring kayak.
We're stocking the Tempest 170, ideal for paddlers 5'4 to 6' 1", and from 130 to 210 pounds, but can order the slightly smaller 165, better for smaller paddlers. Phase3™ seating system is standard, as is a retractable skeg. Reflective permeter lines and plenty of deck lacing complete the package.
