"ADK" is the common abbreviation for the Adirondacks, and this style of solo canoe has been a fixture up there for a very long time.
Designed for double bladed paddle use, the ADK is a great alternative for someone wanting the length and beam of a recreational kayak, but needing something a little easier to get and out of, and a lot easier to load on the car at the end of the day.
ADKs are available in:
- WhiteGold (25 pounds) : Ruby or Emerald clearcoat
- StarLite aramid (19 pounds) : clearcoat
- BlackLite carbon/aramid (20 pounds) : clearcoat
We stock the ADK in WhiteGold, but can order the other layups and wood trim. Lead time on custom order boats is typically 5 to 8 weeks, sometimes a little longer in summer.
