If you're considering any of the various Prospector designs, the B-16 should be on your radar too. Its lines have some traditional Canadian tripping boat influence, but the rocker is moderate, allowing for better tracking on flat water than any of the heavier-rockered P boats out there.
One neat aspect of the B-16 is that the hull lamination is such that there's no need for a forward thwart, making it a boat that can be paddled from the bow for someone looking for a roomy solo tripper.
Keeping in mind that this boat is designed for rugged use, we stock the B-16 in:

- IXP (61 pounds)
